Elegant sophistication
A study in black and white
Frosted illumination in the night
A profile of a tuxedo
Graceful flight on love’s wing
The mere sight strokes the libido
(If you’re into that sort of thing)
Animal attraction alters your psychology
And leaves you unable to speak
It’s a chain reaction from marine biology
That starts when sound departs his beak
Love. From above. Like a dove that’s real clumsy
That’s why I like my penguin.
Wings. Hitting things. My heart sings
When he waddles into walls
And then falls. Penguin.
I have a curious question
When they get bad indigestion
Do they all hiccup?
They look like nuns who are short, fat, and nervous
Or albino dwarves at a funeral service
What’s black and white and red all over?
A penguin with a rash.
Flap your wings, you still can’t fly, only taxi
You walk like someone who’s taken a laxi-tive
What’s black and white, and black and white
And black and white, and black and white?
A penguin falling downstairs.
How do they stand that cold weather?
Are they like birds of a feather?
Do they sneeze together?
Rain. Falls in vain. I’ll explain why I love it.
'Cuz ev’ry time it rains, it rains
Penguins from heaven.
Monochromatics are penguin-spiration
Black and white birds spread their penguin-festation
It’s penguin-cessant penguin-fatuation
Oh yeah.
