Two-Hander

Synopsis

Two performers play an entire universe of characters, sharing the stage with a parade of puppets ranging from the whimsical (in the first act) to the ethereal and enigmatic (in the second act). The majority of the stage time for the "real actors" is spent in the characters of two wannabe theater producers. They cluelessly go through the actions of mounting a play in the first act, culminating with possibly the worst show ever presented. In the second act, they accidentally achieve success and fame, with all the questions and challenges that accompany that status.
